Still haven’t got your Halloween costume yet? If you’re willing to put a lot of work into the effort, consider this gory, historical and somehow, still beautiful headless Marie Antoinette costume. Link Via Craftzine Image Via Make Magazine
BY BILL WILSON Sentinel Photojournalist Bill Wilson © 2009 The San Francisco Zoo is getting a head start on Halloween festivities this weekend October 24 and 25 from 10:30am to 3:30 pm. With costumes encouraged (but rubber masks discouraged because they might frighten the animals) children are invited to celebrate BOO at the Zoo. Children between 4-14 in costume will receive a dollar off the admission price. Arts, crafts, and entertainment with a holiday theme will make it a day of fun

The fertile minds at Evil Mad Scientist Laboratories have announced their Halloween pumpkin project for 2009, and it’s a winner! The Rovin’ Pumpkin’ is a simple robotic pumpkin, and a close cousin of the Snap-O-Lantern. Silently, it sits on your porch– camouflaged amongst the humble squashes. After a minute, its green eyes start to glow, and it creeps… moving

Today Hubby, Taylor, and I went down to my parents' house to help decorate for Halloween. This is Mom's favorite holiday and she has a big party each year for all the family and friends even. Dad is not a fan of decorating, so he went off to work at a meat shoot at the Elk's Club while we did the work for him. The video is of the front yard and one short video with her great idea for Halloween curtains too. In the backyard we planted her mums also. Inside she has all sorts of fun stuff also,

Fingers tapping on the tabletop are something you usually want to get rid of instead of something to reproduce. Nik Ramage, on the other hand, created a copy of his own hand with a motor that taps the fingers incessantly. His purpose is not clear, but it might make a cool Halloween prop. Link
